This product is sold at a low markup (though we don't sell it at a loss either, so as not to compete with small neighborhood stores). The idea isn't to make a profit, but to encourage you to take care of your clothes, repair them, and keep them as long as possible.
It's the scent of cedar that protects it from insects... and will protect you from moths.

Place a cedar disc between your folded sweaters or hang it on a hanger. If the scent fades, apply a drop of cedar essential oil to each disc.

Origin and Certifications
- Cedarwood essential oil is distilled from organic French cedar trees, either in the Gard region by the Bel Air distillery or in the Vaucluse region by the Aroma'Plantes distillery.
- The cedar wood discs are made in the Jura region by Fabrique Pluriel using locally sourced cedar.
Care Instructions
When you receive your order, you may notice a few spots on the cardboard packaging. This is actually a sign of quality: the wood rounds come from freshly cut cedar that is still very rich in resin. It is this fragrant resin that protects the wood from insects… and that will protect you from moths.
Over time, the resin will evaporate and the scent of the discs will fade: to maintain their moth-repelling effect, apply a drop of cedar essential oil to each piece twice a year.
